This policy explains how PulseCode Technology Solutions ("PulseCode", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit pulsecode.biz, contact us, or buy our software. We keep what we collect to a minimum and never sell your information.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and activation forms: your name, email address, the topic and product you choose, your message and, for licence activation, your order number and your computer's machine ID.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
- Purchases: when you buy, our reseller Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing country and payment details. We receive your name, email, order details and country, but never your full card details.
- Technical data: like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you across websites. Your shopping choices are remembered only in your own browser.
2. How we use it
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To deliver your software and issue licence files.
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
3. Services that process data for us
- Lemon Squeezy: sells our software as the merchant of record and processes payments, taxes, receipts and refunds under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: hosts and protects this website.
- Web3Forms: delivers contact, activation and newsletter form messages to our inbox.
- Our email provider: stores the emails you send to support@pulsecode.biz.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: supply the fonts and icons this site displays, so your browser connects to them when pages load.
These providers may process data in countries other than your own. We only use reputable providers that protect personal information.
4. How long we keep it
We keep support messages and licence records for as long as you use our software and for a reasonable period afterwards to provide support and meet legal obligations. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as the law requires.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you emails. Email support@pulsecode.biz and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep information we're legally required to retain.
6. Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, uses strict security settings, and has no user accounts or passwords to steal. Payment details are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy's secure checkout and never touch our systems.
7. Children
Our products are for businesses and professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
